The New 42nd Street Fellows Corps is a career-launching employment and networking opportunity for former New Victory Ushers who have developed an interest in pursuing non-performing arts careers. Available to Usher Corps alumni who left the program in good standing and are at the end of their education careers, the New 42nd Street Fellows Corps provides the experiences, industry knowledge and contacts the participant needs for success on their chosen career track.
Designed as a year-long immersion in arts administration, the Fellowship will place up to five young people in entry-level positions within the New 42nd Street department that aligns with their career goals and college studies. Fellows will also be able to take advantage of professional development workshops, industry conferences, and networking opportunities throughout the year. Depending on the department needs and the participant’s schedule, New 42nd Street Fellows will be either full time or part time.
Funding for the launch of this program is provided by a Theater Subdistrict Council grant aimed at creating thoughtful professional training opportunities designed to increase participation from people currently underrepresented in the professional theater community.
The New 42nd Street Project is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
